• Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1074 of August 13, 2024 - introduction of a temporary ban on the export of commercial gasoline from the Russian Federation from September 1, 2024 and until December 31, 2024 inclusive. The ban does not apply to deliveries under international intergovernmental agreements and a number of other cases.
  
   
• Federal Law No. 300-FZ of August 8, 2024 - amendments to the Federal Law "On the Specifics of Regulating Corporate Relations in Business Entities That Are Economically Significant Organisations" and Article 3 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to Articles 6 and 7 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)" and Certain Legal Acts of the Russian Federation in Terms of the Specifics of Changing the Terms of a Credit Agreement, Loan Agreement" and Article 21 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to Certain Legal Acts of the Russian Federation"

News of the week 

Concepts of mining and mining pool, as well as requirements for them will be legally enshrined.

Requirements for the operator of the mining infrastructure will be established, and the procedure for circulation of digital currency in Russia will be determined.

Advertising of cryptocurrencies and their offer to an unlimited number of people will be prohibited in Russia. Rosfinmonitoring will maintain a list of address identifiers for which there is reason to believe that transactions are carried out for the purpose of laundering criminal proceeds or financing terrorism, or are associated with another criminal offence.

Specifics will be regulated for the cases of limiting electricity consumption in the event that the Government bans mining in certain regions or territories.

It will be prohibited to combine mining with electricity transmission, operational dispatch control, production or purchase and sale of electricity.
