Information letter of the Bank of Russia No. IN-04-45/32 of May 22, 2024 - on the inadmissibility of restricting free transfers of individuals: banks should not restrict the right of citizens to transfer funds between their accounts without commission. From May 1, 2024, citizens can transfer up to 30 million roubles between their bank accounts. Сommission is not allowed. It is unlawful for banks to limit the size and (or) number of such transactions during a day and (or) another period within a month. The services used in this case (in particular, SBP, remote banking channels) do not matter.
